WELCOME! If you're reading this, you're among the first visitors to the all-new SPR Images website. It should be fully functional, but if you encounter any bugs or glitches please let me know via the Contact page. Also I welcome any comments or suggestions about the site and its content. If this is your first visit, take a look through the tabs below. They'll help you to find your way around. The image above, Roadside - Last Light, is from the Death Valley collection.
There are lots of images to see on the site, mostly organized in small collections so it's easy to find your way around. For an overview of all the collections, with a thumbnail image and a brief description of each, click on the Collections tab at the top of the page. From there you can go directly to the collections that look interesting. Once in a collection, just click on any image to see it enlarged in its own lightbox. You can cycle through these larger views with the navigation arrows and return to the collection thumbnails by clicking on the X in the upper right corner.
Any framed print purchased from SPR Images will be hand-made from start to finish, delivered ready to hang and enjoy. All prints come with a 30-day 100% satisfaction guarantee, and for a limited time, shipping within the USA is included free of charge. When you see an image that interests you, open it in the lightbox and click on the link for Purchase Information. This will take you to the Purchase page for that image. For detailed information about how the prints and frames are made, be sure to see "About the Images and Prints" under the About tab above.
The About section has three different parts. The first is mostly about me and my work, who I am and why I do what I do. The next is more about photography as an art form and some of the current controversies about digital photography. The third section is about how my images are finished and framed prints are made. Each of these three main sections under the About tab has a helpful summary page with brief descriptions of what each page is about. You can read as much or as little as you like, and most of the pages are brief with lots of pictures to help make things real.
